Commitment To Safety

Commitment To Safety

Safety is our priority, service is our spirit

At Van Hoose Construction, we know that safety is paramount to the success of any project. We have created a culture of safety to ensure an injury-free workplace, and we work tirelessly to maintain a safe construction environment for our team members during every project. Our entire workforce is OSHA-10 certified and each participate in regular safety meetings.

Our staff members must be properly trained before operating job-site equipment, and they must carry documentation indicating their safety training.

Safety Meetings

To reinforce the message of safety, and to ensure a safe job site, our superintendents hold weekly safety meetings with their staff. At the end of each week, our project managers select a safety topic relevant to their job site. Each superintendent meets with their team the following Monday for a “Toolbox Talk” safety presentation and team discussion.

In addition, Van Hoose Construction holds mandatory, company-wide safety meetings each month. We often invite outside construction professionals to speak with our team about safety-based continuing education topics.
